Gauhar Khan slapping incident is quite a big noise these days after the model turned actress turned TV host Gauhar Khan was slapped by a male from the show’ audience on the grounds of wearing short clothes being Muslin. Where, Bollywood celebrities speak up on this incident, TV stars too talk about on this incident.

Rashami says that it is unfortunate that this incident of Gauhar Khan slapped took place. It is not good at all. These kinds of incidents should not happen and acceptable. A woman irrespective of the religion has to be respected. People have to know their limits.

It’s got nothing to do with religion it’s just that men believe that it’s their birth right to tell women what’s good and bad for them.

Did she disregard Islamic Ayaats or Allah’s name? What was that religious person doing in such an event and Islam doesn’t give permission for man to touch a non mahram lady forget about slapping her. He does not have a right to tell her what she needs to wear… she is a grown up individual living in a free country… Every person is answerable for their own deeds to Allah so let Him deal with us. Before acting religious that man should know his religion.

I don’t think that anybody has rights to do moral policing. Besides, no one can impose one’s opinion on anyone, any actor or any celebrity. It’s entirely the celebrity’s choice as to what to wear or what not. We live in a free society, thus, women should be allowed to live accordingly. This man should be punished.

It’s simply horrendous. If anyone is comfortable with whatever is worn by her or him, he/she should go with that. How can others or people be so reactive? No one has any right to come and slap anyone.
