By Goher Iqbal Punn, Film Critic & Entertainment Analyst, Showbiz Bites

Salman on Jai Ho Sets-showbizbitesSalman Khan’s Jai Ho is ready to hot the screens all over and a lot has been said and written for the movie’s praise. And the trade pundits are of the view that the film is expected to soar high at the box office, as Salman Khan is a box office igniter. But on the contrary, Salman Khan has fears for the film’s box office results. He really likes the movie to do well, but at the same time shows his fears of box office dull. He says that so far he has been lucky at the box office and been receiving biggest box office successes, but there will be a time when box office disaster happens and he really does not want it to happen with Jai Ho. Continuing in the same breath, the actor also mentions that Jai Ho has every ingredient like action, romance and comedy, but it is the same format, his earlier movies were.

The film has been directed and produced by younger brother Sohail Khan and features the likes of Tabu, newcomer Daisy Shah, Sana Khan, Suneil Shetty and Danny Denzongpa apart from the leading man Salman Khan. The movie is ready to hit on 24th January in India and overseas.

Salman also reveals that Bollywood has been experiencing masala entertainers since quite some time and the formula has been explored quite a lot. Thus, it will die very soon because of the repetitions.

He also feels that the action movies leave little for the heroes and offer more to the fighters (stuntmen). But in his movies, the hero does all – from action to climbing, jumping, romancing to fighting. He mentions that he has been doing a lot of action and because of this has been undergoing mammoth problems. He says that at 48, doing all this is really problematic, as there is a lot of physical action involved and he does it all.
