Kapil Sharma to make Bollywood debut – yes, this is now going to happen, as the comedian turned TV host has been signed by Bollywood’s most leading and giant film banner Yash Raj Films. He is now going to make his silver screen debut with none other than YRF. This is really the biggest achievement of Kapil Sharma, who is simply much excited after being fetched in by the banner.
Kapil Sharma will be acting in the movie ‘Bank Chor’ that is a comic thriller. As Yash Raj Films always binds the artists under three-film contract, Kapil Sharma too is no exception at all, he too has been signed under three-film contract by the banner. After doing three movies, he will be free to work in any other movie of other banners. Kapil’s movie will be made by Y-Films (the youth branch of the studio).
Talking to media, the excited Kapil says that it is really a big honor for him to work with Bollywood’s most prestigious banner. He unzips that the script of the movie is really very interesting and gives him full scope to portray his skills. He also mentions that he has already working on the character he is going to play in the movie. He mentions that he would be seen in an altogether different avatar.
Talking about him more in detail, he says that he did serious theater before entering into comedy. Thus, with YRF’s platform, he would get a chance to show this side to him after around 12 years or so. The news that Kapil Sharma to make Bollywood debut has made his fans really crazy.
Bank Chor is going to be directed by Bumpy and produced by Ashish Patil under Y-Films banner. The film is going on floors this April.
