Akshay Kumar and his upcoming film are not leaving any stone unturned to generate oomph and big hype for the movie. Since the promotional activities of the movie have been going on, the film has now achieved the biggest landmark as well. Akshay Kumar’s BOSS has beaten the world record of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson. Well, earlier Michael Jackson’s This is It’s poster was the world’s largest poster, but now Akshay’s BOSS has this distinction. Wow! It’s the biggest achievement and a matter of pride for the Indians back home and across the globe. Akshay Kumar’s fans in India and around the world can now really celebrate this big distinction in a big manner since he has beaten none other than the world’s most popular Pop King Michael Jackson. Now Akshay Kumar’s BOSS holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest poster in the world.
Team Akshay, superstar’s fan club, had made the decision of making the world’s largest poster of the film. And then the efforts were put into use and the poster came out after the heavy struggles and labor of 4 months. The poster was later unveiled on October 3rd 2013 at Little Gransden Airfield, Little Gransden, UK. Behind the manufacturing of the poster is none other than Macro Arts (UK), which had also manufactured Michael Jackson’s poster for This is It.
BOSS’ poster measures 58.87 meters wide and 54.94 meters high. Guinness officials reveal that the poster has beaten Jackson’s record by around 15-20 percent margin. The certificate by Guinness Book of World Records was issued to BOSS in the UK. The Guinness website also reveals the record.
The excited Akshay Kumar says that he really feels much humbled on this achievement. He goes on thanking all who made this happen and says it is a matter of honor.
